"My Nana sent this to my mother last week who then sent it to me. It's twelve minutes long but worth every minute. Alice Herz-Sommer (107 years this month) is the oldest living Holocaust survivor, but more than that she is the personification of light and what it means to love life despite its best efforts to challenge with darkness. The capability of human beings is staggering. For Alice, it was music that saved her and never stopped. Creativity is hope. Optimism wins.
