NICE EYEBROWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

for the soldiers... merry xmas to you all too!

TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS,
HE LIVED ALL ALONE,
IN A ONE BEDROOM HOUSE MADE OF
PLASTER AND STONE.

I HAD COME DOWN THE CHIMNEY
WITH PRESENTS TO GIVE,
AND TO SEE JUST WHO
IN THIS HOME DID LIVE.

I LOOKED ALL ABOUT,
A STRANGE SIGHT I DID SEE,
NO TINSEL, NO PRESENTS,
NOT EVEN A TREE.

NO STOCKING BY MANTLE,
JUST BOOTS FILLED WITH SAND,
ON THE WALL HUNG PICTURES
OF FAR DISTANT LANDS.

WITH MEDALS AND BADGES,
AWARDS OF ALL KINDS,
A SOBER THOUGHT
CAME THROUGH MY MIND.

FOR THIS HOUSE WAS DIFFERENT,
IT WAS DARK AND DREARY,
I FOUND THE HOME OF A SOLDIER,
ONCE I COULD SEE CLEARLY.

THE SOLDIER LAY SLEEPING,
SILENT, ALONE,
CURLED UP ON THE FLOOR
IN THIS ONE BEDROOM HOME.

THE FACE WAS SO GENTLE,
THE ROOM IN SUCH DISORDER,
NOT HOW I PICTURED
A UNITED STATES SOLDIER.

WAS THIS THE HERO
OF WHOM I'D JUST READ?
CURLED UP ON A PONCHO,
THE FLOOR FOR A BED?

I REALIZED THE FAMILIES
THAT I SAW THIS NIGHT,
OWED THEIR LIVES TO THESE SOLDIERS
WHO WERE WILLING TO FIGHT.

SOON ROUND THE WORLD,
THE CHILDREN WOULD PLAY,
AND GROWNUPS WOULD CELEBRATE
A BRIGHT CHRISTMAS DAY.

THEY ALL ENJOYED FREEDOM
EACH MONTH OF THE YEAR,
BECAUSE OF THE SOLDIERS,
LIKE THE ONE LYING HERE.

I COULDN'T HELP WONDER
HOW MANY LAY ALONE,
ON A COLD CHRISTMAS EVE
IN A LAND FAR FROM HOME.

THE VERY THOUGHT
BROUGHT A TEAR TO MY EYE,
I DROPPED TO MY KNEES
AND STARTED TO CRY.

THE SOLDIER AWAKENED
AND I HEARD A ROUGH VOICE,
'SANTA DON'T CRY,
THIS LIFE IS MY CHOICE;

I FIGHT FOR FREEDOM,
I DON'T ASK FOR MORE,
MY LIFE IS MY GOD,
MY COUNTRY, MY CORPS.

THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER
AND DRIFTED TO SLEEP,
I COULDN'T CONTROL IT,
I CONTINUED TO WEEP.

I KEPT ON WATCH FOR HOURS,
SO SILENT AND STILL
AND WE BOTH SHIVERED
FROM THE COLD NIGHT'S CHILL.

I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE
ON THAT COLD, DARK NIGHT,
THIS GUARDIAN OF HONOR
SO WILLING TO FIGHT.

THEN THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER,
WITH A VOICE SOFT AND PURE,
WHISPERED, 'CARRY ON SANTA,
IT'S CHRISTMAS DAY, ALL IS SECURE.'

ONE LOOK AT MY WATCH,
AND I KNEW HE WAS RIGHT.
'MERRY CHRISTMAS MY FRIEND,
AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT.'

This poem was written by a Marine.
The following is his request. I think it is reasonable.....
PLEASE. Would you do me the kind favor of sending
this to as many people as you can? Christmas will be coming
soon and some credit is due to our U.S. service men and
women for our being able to celebrate these festivities.
Let's try in this small way to pay a tiny bit of what
we owe. Make people stop and think of our heroes, living and
dead, who sacrificed themselves for us. Please, do your
small part to plant this small seed.

The following was written by Ben Stein and recited by him on CBS Sunday Morning Commentary.

I wish other people could GET A FREAKING GRIP and had the same views as Ben Stein!

My confession:

I am a Jew, and every single one of my ancestors were Jewish. And it
does not bother me even a little bit when people call those beautiful
lit up, bejeweled trees, Christmas trees. I don't feel threatened. I
don't feel discriminated against. That's what they are, Christmas
trees.

It doesn't bother me a bit when people say, 'Merry Christmas' to me. I
don't think they are slighting me or getting ready to put me in a
ghetto. In fact, I kind of like it. It shows that we are all brothers
and sisters celebrating this happy time of year. It doesn't bother me
at all that there is a manger scene on display at a key intersection
near my beach house in Malibu. If people want a creche, it's just as
fine with me as is the Menorah a few hundred yards away.

I don't like getting pushed around for being a Jew, and I don't think
Christians like getting pushed around for being Christians. I think
people who believe in God are sick and tired of getting pushed around,
period. I have no idea where the concept came from that America is an
explicitly atheist country. I can't find it in the Constitution and I
don't like it being shoved down my throat.

Or maybe I can put it another way: Where did the idea come from that we
should worship celebrities and we aren't allowed to worship God as we
understand Him? I guess that's a sign that I'm getting old, too. But
there are a lot of us who are wondering where these celebrities came
from and where the America we knew went to. In light of the many jokes
we send to one another for a laugh, this is a little different: This is
not intended to be a joke; it's not funny, it's intended to get you
thinking.

Billy Graham's daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane
Clayson asked her 'How could God let something like this happen?' (with
regards to Katrina) Anne Graham gave an extremely profound and
insightful response. She said, 'I believe God is deeply saddened by
this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of
our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives.
And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How
can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we
demand He leave us alone?'

In light of recent events . . . terrorists attack, school shootings,
etc. I think it started when Madeleine Murray O'Hare (she was murdered,
her body found a few years ago) complained she didn't want prayer in our
schools, and we said OK. Then someone said you better not read the
Bible in school. The Bible says thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not
steal, and love your neighbor as yourself. And we said OK.

Then Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they
misbehave because their little personalities would be warped and we
might damage their self-esteem (Dr Spock's son committed suicide). We
said an expert should know what he's talking about. And we said OK.

Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they
don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill
strangers, their classmates, and themselves. Probably, if we think
about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out. I think it has a
great deal to do with 'WE REAP WHAT WE SOW.'

Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the
world's going to Hell. Funny how we believe what the newspapers say,
but question what the Bible says. Funny how you can send 'jokes'
through e-mail and they spread like wildfire but when you start sending
messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing. Funny
how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through
cyberspace, but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and
workplace.

Are you laughing yet?

Funny how when you forward this message, you will not send it to many on
your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what
they will think of you for sending it.

Funny how we can be more worried about what other people think of us
than what God thinks of us. Pass it on if you think it has merit. If
not then just discard it . . . no one will know you did. But, if you
discard this thought process, don't sit back and complain about what bad
shape the world is in.

My Best Regards, Honestly and Respectfully, Ben Stein

can i get a whoot whoot from my girls?

"Last year all I was trying to do was get a girlfriend," says Pattinson, 22, Twilight's resident vampire.
"What happened? It's like the face of what is attractive has changed. Girls used to want to see guys take their shirts off. Now it's, 'I want you to bite me.' It's bizarre."

Funny thing is, he finds it bizarre but us ladies say it's SOOOOO TRUE.... ha ha

i am .......... speechless.... "the nicest things" by kate nash

All I know is that you're so nice,
You're the nicest thing I've seen.
I wish that we could give it a go,
See if we could be something.

I wish I was your favorite girl,
I wish you thought I was the reason you are in the world.
I wish my smile was your favorite kind of smile
I wish the way that I dressed was your favorite kind of style.

I wish you couldn't figure me out,
But you always wanted know what I was about.
I wish you had a favorite beauty spot that you loved secretly,
'Cos it was on a hidden bit that nobody else could see.

Basically, I wish that you loved me,
I wish that you needed me,
I wish that you knew when I said two sugars, actually I meant three.

I wish that without me your heart would break,
I wish that without me you'd be spending the rest of your nights awake.
I wish that without me you couldn't eat,
I wish I was the last thing on your mind before you went to sleep.

All I know is that you're the nicest thing I've ever seen.
I wish that we could see if we could be something.
I wish that we could see if we could be something.

"take me there" by rascal flatts

"Take Me There" by Rascal Flatts...

There's a place in your heart where nobody's been.
Take me there.
Things nobody knows, not even your friends.
Take me there.
Tell me about your momma, your daddy, your home town, show me around.
I wanna see it all, don't leave anything out.

I wanna know, everything about you.
And I wanna go, down every road you've been.
Where your hopes and dreams and wishes live, where you keep the rest of your life hid.
I wanna know the girl behind that pretty stare.
Take me there.

Your first real kiss, your first true love, you were scared.
Show me where.
You learned about life, spent your summer nights, without a care.
Take me there.
I wanna roll down mainstreet and backroads like you did when you were a kid.
What makes you who you are, tell me what your story is.

I wanna know, everything about you.
And I wanna go, down every road you've been.
Where your hopes and dreams and wishes live, where you keep the rest of your life hid.
I wanna know the girl behind that pretty stare.
Take me there.

I wanna roll down mainstreet.
I wanna know your hopes and your dreams.
Take me, take me there.
Yeah.

amazing photo of a bridge in albert canada...

This is the actual turn-off From Banff, Alberta, Canada. Great picture isn't it? They had to build the animals (especially the elk) their own crossing because that was where the natural crossing was and after the highway was built there were far too many accidents. It didn't take the animals long to learn that this was their very own bridge! And then you have some people saying ' Animals are stupid '. Really....?

quote of the day!

"Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater.

If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby.

If you give her a house, she'll give you a home.

If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal.

If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart.

She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her.

So,if you give her any crap,be ready to receive a ton of shit."

and i thought bungee jumping was CRAZY!

Holland Township man names son after Adolf Hitler - WHAT A LOSER!

In a living room decorated with war books, German combat knives and swastikas, a 2-year-old boy, blond and blue-eyed, played with a plastic dinner set.

The boy, asked his name, put down a tiny plate and ran behind his father's leg. He flashed a shy smile but wouldn't answer. Heath Campbell, 35, the boy's father, encouraged him.

"Say Adolf," said Campbell, a Holocaust denier who has three children named for Nazism.

Again, the boy wouldn't answer. It wasn't the first time the name caused hesitation.

Adolf Hitler Campbell -- it's indeed the name on his birth certificate -- turns 3 today, and the Campbell family believes the boy has been mistreated. A local supermarket refused to make a birthday cake with "Adolf Hitler" on it.

The ShopRite in Greenwich Township has also refused to make a cake bearing the name of Campbell's daughter, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell, who turns 2 in February.

Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell, a girl named for Schutzstaffel head Heinrich Himmler, turns 1 in April.

"ShopRite can't even make a cake for a 3-year-old," said Deborah Campbell, 25, who is Heath's wife of three years and the mother of the children. "That's sad."

A director for the Anti-Defamation League in Philadelphia applauded the supermarket's decision. An Allentown psychologist said the names would cause problems for the children later in life.

Karen Meleta, a ShopRite spokeswoman, said the grocer tries to meet customer requests but rejects those deemed inappropriate. "We believe the request to inscribe a birthday wish to Adolf Hitler is inappropriate," she said.

The grocer offered to make a cake with enough room for the Campbells to write their own inscription. But the Campbells refused, saying they would have a cake made at the Wal-Mart in Lower Nazareth Township. The Campbells say Wal-Mart made cakes for Adolf's first two birthdays.

A spokeswoman for Wal-Mart said the store won't put anything illegal or profane on a cake but thinks it's important to respect the views of customers and employees.

"Our No. 1 priority in decorating cakes is to serve the customer to the best of our ability," Anna Taylor, the spokeswoman, said from Bentonville, Ark.

If the Campbells have a legal case over the refusal, it would be that the family was denied service because of race, ethnicity or religion, said Shannon Powers, of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, a state agency that enforces anti-discrimination laws.

The Campbells, she said, would have to prove ShopRite didn't make a reasonable attempt to provide service it provides others. She said the offer to make a cake with room for an inscription would probably count as a reasonable attempt.

"It sounds like they (the supermarket) don't want to offend other patrons or do something offensive to their own sensibilities. If that's the motivation, that's totally different from discrimination," Powers said.

'They're just names'

The Campbells have swastikas in each room of their home, the rented half of a one-story duplex just outside Milford, a borough in Hunterdon County. They say they aren't racists but believe races shouldn't mix.

The Campbells said they wanted their children to have unique names and didn't expect the names to cause problems. Despite the cake refusal, the Campbells said they don't expect the names to cause problems later, such as when the children start school.

"I just figured that they're just names," Deborah Campbell said. "They're just kids. They're not going to hurt anybody."

Heath Campbell said some people like the names but others are shocked to hear them. "They say, 'He (Hitler) killed all those people.' I say, 'You're living in the wrong decade. That Hitler's gone,'" he said.

"They're just names, you know," he said. "Yeah, they (Nazis) were bad people back then. But my kids are little. They're not going to grow up like that."

"Other kids get their cake. I get a hard time," he said. "It's not fair to my children.

"How can a name be offensive?" he asked.

'Why not call the kid Peace?'

Robert M. Gordon, a clinical psychologist in Allentown, said the names would hurt the children.

"Certainly society is going to be hostile towards those kids, especially when they go to school," Gordon said.

More than that, he said, the children would be harmed by their parents' views.

"By the time they get to school, they will already have been damaged," Gordon said. "Any parent that would impose such horrific names on their children is mentally ill, and they would be affecting their children from the day they were born. Only a crazy person would do that."

The problems the children might encounter in school, he said, "would be icing on the cake."

Barry Morrison, a director at the Philadelphia office of the Anti-Defamation League, which works to stop anti-Semitism and bigotry, said the organization had never heard of children named for Hitler, Himmler or Aryan nations.

He found the names offensive and commended ShopRite's decision.

The Campbells, Morrison said, "might as well put a sign around their (the children's) neck that says bigot, racist, hatemonger. What's the difference? Why not call the kid Peace or Tranquility or Hope or Acceptance?

"It's doing them (the children) a tremendous disservice, and it's cruel that parents would place these names on children," he said. "It's a mark upon them. It sets them apart for ridicule, derision, attacks.

"The children at this age might not have an understanding of these names. But when they grow up, hopefully, they would want to distance themselves from them," he said. "If they come to identify with the ideology of Hitler, Himmler and the Aryan nations, their parents are launching them on a life of hatred."

Swastikas and choices

The Campbell home is kept neat aside from scattered toys and other evidence three children live there. It's small, but it's what the Campbells can afford.

Disabilities, the couple says, have left both out of work: Heath Campbell can't landscape or pump gas because he has emphysema, and Deborah can't waitress because she has a bad back. They live on Social Security payments.

In the foyer, Heath Campbell, who said he has German ancestry and a relative who fought for the SS, took off boots he said were worn by a Nazi solider named Daniel.

He laid them next to a skull with a swastika on its forehead, the first of dozens of swastikas seen by the Campbells' rare guests.

There are swastikas on walls, on jackets, on the freezer and on a pillow. The family car had swastikas, Heath Campbell said, until New Jersey's Department of Children and Families told him they could endanger the children.

The swastikas, Heath Campbell said, are symbols of peace and balance. He considers them art.

"It doesn't mean hatred to me," he said. Deborah Campbell said a swastika "doesn't really have a meaning. It's just a symbol."

Heath Campbell said he doesn't want to force his views on his children, in part because he had views forced on him. He said he also teaches them nonviolence.

Abusive guardians, Heath Campbell said, used Bible verses to teach him to distrust blacks. If he questioned the guardians, he said, he was hit. He acknowledged he couldn't challenge the guardians' views.

He said Adolf Hitler, Aryan Nation and Hinler would be able to make their own decisions about race.

justice has been served... FINALLY!

I don't know if anyone has ever seen the movie ADAM that was made back in the 80's about John Walsh's little boy Adam, but I saw it.. and it haunted me for years... but now this family can finally have some sort of peace knowing who murdered their baby boy... what a sad story but i am glad to know they can finally rest easy knowing they found out who it was .. and i'm happy to say the MO FO is DEAD! I am sure he is burning in hell as we speak!

In 1981, a parent’s worst nightmare happened to John and Reve Walsh.

Adam Walsh was 6 on July 27, 1981, when, while shopping with his mother, Revé, at a mall near their Hollywood, Fla., home, he was abducted. His mother and father, John, 51, then a hotel developer and now host of the TV show America’s Most Wanted, never saw him alive again. The crime remains unsolved.

Revé was three aisles away from Adam. He was watching four boys play video games. She was in the lamp department. When she returned three minutes later, he was gone. Revé demanded they start a search in the store. She called me at my office and said, “Something is terribly wrong.”

We searched through the night. I camped out at the Hollywood police department for two weeks. We distributed the first poster of a missing child all around the country. I was so naive. I didn’t know what a pedophile was. The police showed us a book of 200 child molesters on parole in Broward County. My heart started to sink. I didn’t know that such child killers existed.

At this time there was no 24/7 news to carry the news of Adam’s abduction, there was no Amber Alert to broadcast his description, and there was not internet to provide resources to parents with missing children. John Walsh didn’t know how to help law enforcement with the search for his son but he did have a resource who was able to get him an interview with Good Morning America’s host, David Hartman. It was while he and Reve were in New York for that appearance that they got the worst news possible for parents.

They found what turned out to be Adam’s severed head in a Vero Beach, Fla., canal. I started screaming and trashed the hotel room. I didn’t believe that someone could kill this beautiful little boy. The most horrible thing was telling Revé. It was unbearable.

Some people would have let the tragedy of their child’s death destroy them; Walsh decided to try to make the death a crusade to help others avoid the same pain that he and Reve experienced. He formed the Adam Walsh Foundation and has become an advocate for families of missing children. In addition, his television program, America’s Most Wanted has helped to bring over 1,000 fugitives to justice.

But though his efforts brought closure to many victims, his own son’s case has remained unsolved until today. Hollywood, Florida police have officially closed Adam’s case today pinning the crime on a Ottis Toole, a serial killer. Toole had reportedly confessed to Adam’s killing only to later recant. His death bed confession in 1996 was related to police by his niece.

Police said Toole was long the prime suspect in the case and that they had conclusively linked him the killing. They declined to be specific about their evidence and noted they had no DNA proof of the crime, but said an extensive review of the case file pointed only to Toole, as John Wash long contended.

“Our agency has devoted an inordinate amount of time seeking leads to other potential perpetrators rather than emphasizing Ottis Toole as our primary suspect,” said Hollywood Police Chief Chadwick Wagner. “Ottis Toole has continued to be our only real suspect.”

Many names have been mentioned in connection to the case in the years since the killing, including serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, but Toole’s has persistently nagged detectives. John Walsh has long said he believed the drifter was responsible, saying investigators found at Toole’s home in Jacksonville a pair of green shorts and a sandal similar to what Adam was wearing.

For any parent, the story of Adam and his death brings a shudder of dread. It is a legacy to him that his father and mother have taken the greatest sadness in the world and turned it into an opportunity to do something for others who are also experiencing a trial that no parent should ever endure.

El Cajon, CA–This fine trio of thug wannabe’s are Jeffrey Nelson, 19, Luis Osborne, 18, and Antoinette Baker, 18. They are responsible for the kidnapping and torture of 75-year-old Natalie “Sandy” Herbst-Vinge.

Nelson, a salesman from a carpet company, first came into contact with Herbst-Vinge last Monday morning…he sold her a $2,000 Kirby vacuum cleaner. Later that evening he returned to her home and asked if he could use her phone. When she turned around to allow him into her home, he attacked her from behind, choking her until she was unconscious. After he tied her hands and feet and slapped duct tape over her mouth, he ransacked her home in search of cash and credit cards. At some point, Nelson called a couple of friends to come and enjoy the mayhem. Enter Osborne and Baker.

It wasn’t enough that Nelson ripped off and choked Herbst-Vinge, I guess he had to prove himself a real thug in front of his friends, so he threw the woman in the trunk of her own car. It was time for a joy ride. The three drove to Ocean Beach in Herbst-Vinge’s car, where they hung out at the Ocean Beach pier. Good times.

When the thugs stopped to gas up the car, with Herbst-Vinge’s gas card, she managed to chew through the duct tape and scream for help. Unfortunately, the only ones to hear her scream were the assholes that kidnapped her. The cries for help earned her a few punches in the face from Nelson and Osborne. When she asked for water, she was punched again. Over and over.

For over 26-hours Herbst-Vinge was tied up and at the mercy of her three captors. 26-hours bound and gagged in the trunk with no food or water. 26-hours of beatings and abuse. In a twist of fate, the trio was busted Tuesday evening after running a red light. When police pulled the them over, Herbst-Vinge was discovered in the trunk. Next to her was a shovel. Had the cops not pulled the assholes over when they did, who knows how this nightmare would have ended for her.

In court on Friday, all three pleaded not guilty to charges of torture, kidnapping, robbery, willful cruelty to an elder causing great bodily injury, and theft from an elder. Nelson also pleaded not guilty to charges of carjacking, kidnapping during a carjacking, attempted murder, assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury and burglary. More charges are possible. If convicted on the torture charges, they could be looking at life in prison. A hearing has been set for December 29 to determine if there is sufficient evidence for trial. They are all being held on $2 million bail, each. While Osborn and Nelson showed no emotion in the courtroom, Baker cried like the little bitch she is. She may not have thrown any of the punches, but she didn’t go out of her way to help the woman.

As of Friday, Herbst-Vinge was still hospitalized, it is uncertain when she will be released. Her face is swollen and bruised. Doctors believe she may have suffered a minor heart attack during the ordeal. Her family says that she is up and walking and in good spirits. My heart goes out to you Sandy…heal quickly. And as for the assholes that beat her, I hope that the boys in the big house show ‘em how it’s really done. Assholes.

update on little angel, caylee anthony case....

The search for missing Caylee Anthony may be over.

A medical examiner found evidence among a child's remains that link them to the home of the missing toddler, the county sheriff said Friday, offering the strongest indication yet that the remains may be those of the 3-year-old girl who disappeared last summer.

Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary said investigators searched the home early Friday after the medical examiner found "some clues that came out of the remains" that "linked it to the house." He would not say what clues were found.

"We took some things out of the house that the forensic people are very interested in," he said.

The remains were found Thursday by a water meter reader on a wooded lot less than a half-mile from the house where 3-year-old Caylee lived with her grandparents and her mother, 22-year-old Casey Anthony.

Meanwhile, Florida officials on Friday released a 911 call placed by the worker who found the remains.

During the approximately 2 minutes of tape released Friday an official identifies the area where a skull was found as "the Caylee Anthony area."

A male caller from Orange County Utilities emergency dispatch center tells the 911 operator, "We've found a human skull" before handing the call over to another man. The 911 operator gasps and tells the caller to make sure the worker doesn't touch it.

CBS News correspondent Mark Strassman reported that DNA testing of the remains is underway, and detectives hope to have a positive ID of the remains by this weekend.

Beary said his investigators and the FBI would work around the clock and through the weekend to identify the child.

Asked if he believed if the remains are Caylee, Beary said: "I think it's a good possibility, but I have to wait seven to 14 days for the DNA analysis."

There are no other similar missing-child cases in the area.

"I say my prayers every day and one of them is to solve this case," said Beary, who is retiring in January. "I just hope that we solve the case on my watch."

A judge denied a motion Friday filed by the defense to inspect the remains, saying they must wait for a positive identification.

"The investigation continues, and with this recent development, I believe that everybody is going to be probably re-interviewed and we're going to talk to everybody," Police Captain Angelo Nieves of the Orange County Sheriff's Department told CBS Early Show anchor Julie Chen.

The investigators' focus now: the Anthonys' home. Detectives searched it again overnight, with the family kept out.

CBS affiliate WKMG reports that crime scene detectives removed materials, including seven large paper bags and four boxes of evidence. They also seized four vacuum cleaners and two pesticide tanks.

CBS News legal analyst Lisa Bloom said investigators are likely searching for possible matches between trash bags and duct tape found at the crime scene and what is at the grandparents' house. "If so, there is potentially a case against the grandparents," Bloom told Chen. "I emphasize 'potentially' for accessory after the fact, although no charges are pending against them."

It's the latest turn in a sad, six-month mystery in which a three-year-old girl disappeared one month before her mother reported the disappearance.

Caylee's mother, 22-year-old Casey Anthony, was indicted in October on first-degree murder and other charges, even though the toddler's body hadn't been found. She has insisted that she left the girl with a baby sitter in June, but she didn't report Caylee missing until July.

But Casey and her family have insisted she killed no one.

"We still believe firmly that Caylee is alive," said Cindy Anthony, Caylee's grandmother, last month. "That's where our focus has been from day one."

And in an earlier, recorded jail conversation, Casey Anthony said this about her little girl: "She's not far. I know in my heart she's not far. I can feel it."

Lawrence Kobilinsky, professor of forensic science at John Jay College of Criminal Justice (who has also been retained by Casey Anthony's defense team), told Chen that Caylee's mother, when informed of the discovery, "is apparently quite upset by this finding.

"I'm sure she's having psychological counseling."

Kobilinsky said the first step is to identify the skeletal remains, which he said can be difficult, particularly for a young child. "So you really need to use techniques such as mitochondrial DNA analysis [daughters and mothers share the same mitochondrial DNA]. If there is any soft tissue that remains, the normal PCR (polymerase chain reaction) analysis that we hear about in criminal cases is applicable."

Testing, however, may be compromised because of the exposure of the remains to contaminants in the environment. "Keep in mind, this area was under water because of Hurricane Fay until a couple of months ago," Kobilinsky told Chen.

"We may not know the cause of death and that is a key factor here. Even the postmortem interval may not be established with a degree of accuracy, so there are still a lot of questions."

Prosecutors announced last week that they would not seek the death penalty against Casey Anthony. But if DNA tests confirm these remains are little Casey, prosecutors could have the evidence needed to make this a capital case after all: a body.

"If the defense had been able to go to trial without a body being discovered, hopes for reasonable doubt might have been compelling. If the body proves to be Caylee, then it immediately becomes an uphill case for the defense," former U.S. Attorney Kendall Coffey said.

But law experts said it was unlikely the state would reverse its decision because prosecutors still have not determined a motive.

And depending on what the evidence yields, the discovery could also help defense attorneys.

Bloom said that if the remains prove to be Caylee, it drastically alters the defense of her mother: "If they can establish the manner of death is different than what the prosecution alleges, that would be helpful to them."

"If the body was tampered with, if wild animals got to it, if the evidence they get with it is contradictory in some way, then the job (for prosecutors) just got tougher," said Jim Cohen, a law professor at Fordham University in New York.

"This can verify or help to verify their theory: that the child was killed when the prosecution thinks she was killed," said Richard G. Lubin, a criminal defense lawyer based in West Palm Beach. "But until you do some of this scientific work, we don't know what it's going to show."

A spokeswoman with the state attorney's office said Thursday that officials wouldn't comment until the investigation was complete.

Even if it's Caylee, no one can say when the sorrow will end.

"It's a double-edged sword," said family friend Holly Gagne. "Either way there's pain, either way there's suffering. So there's no answer, no right answer."
